GREENWOOD
Norman Wayne Riggles, 82, of Greenwood, passed away February 8, 2018. Norman was born on October 20, 1935 in Greenwood, Indiana to the late Herbert L. & Juanita F. Nicholson Riggles. He was a member of UAW Local #111, Moose Lodge #2079 and was a veteran of the Unites States Army. Norman retired from Ford Motor Company in 1989, after 32 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lydia Combs Whitman Riggles; children, Lester A. Combs, Daniel M. Combs, William H. Riggles, Theresa L. Riggles; brother, Jack Riggles; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Norman W. Riggles; 4 brothers, Donald, Charles, Lawrence and Ray Riggles.
Calling: 5-8 PM Tuesday, February 13 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana. Service: 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Donations can be made to Riley Children’s Foundation.
