GREENWOOD
Larry G. Bridges, age 74, of Greenwood, passed away Monday evening, February 5, 2018 at his home.
Larry was born in Indianapolis on February 27, 1943 to Paul and Vivian (Fowler) Bridges. He graduated from George Washington High School in 1961 and held an Associate Degree from Purdue University. On May 2, 1964, he married the love of his life, Sally J. (Hammer) Bridges, who survives. Larry worked for Eli Lilly as a Systems Programmer for over 28 years and went on to be a consultant with Analysts International Corporation and NIMS after his retirement. Larry was a member of Berean Baptist Church. He was very proud to be a Baptist and truly loved Jesus. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sally Bridges of Greenwood; one son, James B. Bridges (Kim) of Lindenwold, NJ; two grandchildren, Josh and Sarah; and one great-granddaughter, Arianna.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Maurice D. Bridges and one sister, DeAnna J. Wiser.
Funeral services will be held on Monday evening, February 12, at 6:00 PM. The family will receive guests at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be private.
