FRANKLIN
Judy Jo Vandivier Scott passed away on February 9th, 2018. Judy was born on February 22, 1939 in Franklin Indiana to Mary Etta and Emmons Hougland. She graduated from Franklin Community High School in 1957 and married her high school sweetheart, Richard S. Vandivier that same year. Judy and Richard were married 34 years until his death in 1993. Judy married Lindsey (Lin) Scott on November 24th, 1995. He survives. Judy is also survived by her son Dan Vandivier (Rhonda), her daughter Stacy Duckworth (Danny); her grandchildren Lindsay, Jake, Dalt, Clay, Matt and Nicole and great granddaughter Sarah.
Judy loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling to Florida where she and Lin wintered for many years. She loved politics, cooking, gardening and spending time gathered at the pool with family and friends. She was the owner/operator of JJ’s Creative Catering and was a successful realtor until her retirement in 2005.
A graveside memorial will take place on Monday February 12 at 11:30am at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin. Flinn & Maguire F.H. in Franklin is handling arrangements.
