CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Snowy weather returned to parts of Wyoming on Friday, causing slick and hazardous travel conditions and ushering in bitter cold temperatures.

Winter weather advisories were posted for areas of central and southeast Wyoming on Friday afternoon.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation said many area roads and highways, including stretches of Interstate 90, I-25 and I-80, were slick.

Bitter cold air was accompanying the snowstorm with below zero wind chills expected across much of the state Friday night and through Saturday night.
