Greenwood artist Samantha Wright is the featured artist at the Southside Art League Gallery for the month of February.
Art lovers will have the chance to meet Wright during a reception for her exhibition, from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the gallery.
Specializing in ethereal paintings and sculpture, Wright is a lifelong Greenwood resident. She is currently in her junior year at Herron School of Art and Design, where she is majoring in integrative studio practice with a minor in art history.
Wright’s work is currently on display at the gallery, located at 299 E. Broadway St., Greenwood. The exhibition will be up until Feb. 28.
Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m Wednesday to Saturday.
