NEW YORK — Police responding to a 911 call of a robbery have discovered a man and a woman fatally stabbed inside a Brooklyn home.

Police say Wednesday officers arrived at the home in the borough’s Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood to find a 65-year-old man with stab wounds in the front of the house. They say a 59-year-old woman was found stabbed in the back of the house.

Police say the man was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
