WALPOLE, N.H. — New Hampshire fire officials say one person has been found dead in a house fire in the town of Walpole.

State Fire Marshal William Degnan says the fire happened at about 3:15 a.m. Monday. An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.

A second person at the home has been taken to a hospital for minor injuries.

Fire officials haven’t said what may have caused the fire. They are still investigating.
