Pilot to speak at mayor’s prayer breakfast

Next month, a fighter pilot will speak at the Greenwood mayor’s annual prayer breakfast.

The Christian Business Men’s Connection is hosting the 28th annual event at 8 a.m. March 3 at The Nest Event Center, 400 Byrd Way, Greenwood.

The event brings community members, government officials and clergy together to discuss Greenwood and hear from a motivational speaker.

William “Fritz” Klump, a fighter pilot who served in the Vietnam War and later as a pilot for Delta Airlines, will be the keynote speaker.

Klump served as the executive director for Christian Business Men’s Connection from 2000 to 2003 and has been a motivational speaker since 1973.
