Loretta Cox

GREENWOOD

Loretta Cox, aged 83 years, of Greenwood, Indiana, died peacefully at home on Thursday, January 25, 2018

Loretta was born on February 21, 1934 in Morehead, Kentucky, Rowan County, the daughter of Audra and Vada Crose.

Loretta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was a licensed professional nurse and most of all, a consummate caregiver. Nothing made her happier than to take care of someone in need.

Some of her favorite times were adventures of travel across Europe and the country with her husband Wayne. Loretta leaves this world and all those she touched better; her life lessons and wise counsel will live forever within us. Her warm smile to all those she encountered will be remembered.

She was preceded in death by brother Eugene Crose; parents Audra and Vada Crose; sister Edna Hesson; husband Wayne Cox; and brother-in-law Eugene Langham.

Loretta is lovingly survived by her daughter Michele (Brad) Hubler; granddaughter Brooke (John) Haines; grandson Stuart (Jennifer) Hubler; great-grandchildren Jack Haines, Evan Haines, Ella Hubler, Honora Hubler, and Evelynn Hubler; sister Jenetta Langham; brother Larry (Anita) Crose; brother-in-law Clifton Hesson; nieces Linda Parker, Shirley (Gary) Zettle; nephews Mark (Beth) Hesson, Jeffrey ( Rosa) Langham and Jed Crose; grandniece Haley Hesson.

Gratitude to the loving and dedicated family of caregivers Faye Burkhart, Sarah Chamberlain, Patricia Gray, Susan Jones, Julie Thrasher, and Sharon Winningham. Special thanks to the wonderfully supportive staff and family of friends at Bickford of Greenwood.

“Other things may change, but we start and end with family.”

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 10 at 11 a.m., Gothic Chapel at Crown Hill Cemetery, located at 3402 Boulevard Place, Indianapolis, Indiana 46208.

Arrangements: Crown Hill Funeral Home.
