Franklin College came up just short in a high-scoring road affair Wednesday, suffering a 98-96 defeat at Manchester.
John Beineke and Sam Gutierrez had 20 points each to lead six players in double figures, but the Grizzlies (6-14, 5-8 HCAC) couldn’t overcome a Manchester team that shot 62 percent from the field.
Women’s squad drops home game
A frigid shooting night doomed Franklin College to a 44-40 home loss against Manchester on Wednesday.
Isabella Ratliff had 13 points in defeat for the Grizzlies (6-13, 5-8 HCAC), who made just 28 percent of their shot attempts (15 of 53).
