300 block of Bryant Drive: A woman reported at 3:22 p.m. Monday that someone stole medication from her mailbox.

Shoplifting

Kohls, 415 Mallory Parkway: A loss prevention office reported at 10:34 a.m. Monday that two people attempted to steal clothing. They were arrested.

• 4:17 p.m. Monday — Jefferson Street and Fairground Street.
• 2:15 p.m. Monday — Commerce Drive and U.S. 31.

• 10:36 a.m. Sunday — Hurricane Road and Earlywood Drive.
• 11:45 a.m. Saturday — 1100 block of Hospital Road.

Attempted burglary

1200 block of Cherryfield Lane: Police responded at 1:39 p.m. Monday to a report of someone attempting to enter a home.

Thefts

• 2000 block of Village Crossing Lane: Police responded at 8:26 p.m. Monday to a report of a missing cellphone.
• 300 block of Marlin Drive: A man reported at 12:34 p.m. Monday that a man entered is vehicle and stole his navigation system and cell phone.
• 1200 block of Easy Street: Police responded at 12:08 p.m. Monday to a report of a stolen debit card that was later used.
• 1700 block of Keaton Way: Police responded at 9:12 a.m. Monday to a report of theft.

Attempted fraud

Dye’s Walk, 2080 S. State Road 135, Greenwood: An employee reported at 9:47 a.m. Monday that their computers were locked and they had received an email from someone demanding they pay in Bitcoin to decrypt the system. No money was sent and the business is getting its computers fixed.
