I don’t know who the kind angel was that shoveled my walkways but I appreciate it more than you know. I live on the corner of Georgetown and Pilgrim roads. Blessings to you in the new year!

I want to thank the policeman who came to my door at 1 a.m. on a recent Friday night to let me know my garage door was up. I really appreciated him checking it out. We don’t hear enough good things about our police. I didn’t get his name, but hope he sees this. Thanks again.

Thanks to The Place for Hair and Trafalgar First Merchants Bank for hosting our ornaments this year with the names of families that needed help in our area. Without you doing so these families could not have had assistance.

Thanks So Much to Jose and Yeni Giron at Mi Jefe’s in Trafalgar for hosting a dine to donate night. And thanks to each of you that came out to join us. We sure appreciate everyone. What a fun evening and what a huge help.

A big heart goes out to Brent Benbow and the Indiana National Guard for a wonderful meal for the high school basketball team and an inspiring speaker and also for the wonderful warm up jerseys. It was all greatly appreciated by everyone.

Brad Dickey and the Franklin Community High School boys basketball teams and coaching staff

Before they come down, a great big heart to the crew that put up all of the wonderful Christmas lights around our courthouse and up Main Street. We had a number of out-of-town visitors over the holidays and they were all amazed at the quantity, the quality and the overall spectacle our downtown offers. When it comes to “Exterior Illumination,” Franklin wins hands down.

Christmas morning was special for many of our Indian Creek families. This would not have been possible without the generous help of the Trafalgar McDonald’s, Cline Doors, Yard Signs, Mt. Carmel Christian Church, Morning Star Church, Lamb Lake Bass Masters and the Trafalgar Volunteer Fire Department. Thanks to Susie Baker and those of you that took an ornament or made a donation. I apologize if I left anyone out. I also need to thank my husband, Rick “Cecil” Riedel and my assistants. Without everyone’s help this would not be possible. Already looking forward to next year.
