Thefts

• 600 block of Hurricane Street: A man reported at 6:13 p.m. Saturday that someone stole a computer tablet from his mailbox.
• Franklin Self Storage, 771 S. State St: A man reported at 6:46 p.m. Saturday that someone cut the lock from his storage unit and stole heaters.

Criminal mischief

• 1000 block of Love Avenue: An officer observed broken windows on two separate vehicles at 12:15 p.m. Sunday.
• East Monroe Street and South Hougham Street: Two men reported at 3:45 a.m. Saturday that they witnessed two men turn on a piece of construction machinery and punch a hole in a piece of plastic at a construction site.

Fraud

Kroger, 3100 Meridian Parke Drive: Police responded at 4:02 p.m. Friday to a report of a fraudulent prescription.

Criminal mischief

Central Nine Career Center, parking lot, 1999 U.S. 31: Police responded at 1:59 p.m. Friday to a report of a broken window.

Shoplifting

• Von Maur, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 10:06 p.m. Saturday to a report of theft.
• Pink, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 7:49 p.m. Saturday to a report of theft.
• Von Maur, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 7:33 p.m. Saturday to a report of shoplifting. Four juveniles were arrested and released to their parents.
• Kohls, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 1:58 p.m. Friday to a report of shoplifting. A woman was arrested.

Burglary

• 1000 block of Rolling Hill Road: Police responded at 10:09 a.m. Sunday to a report of burglary.
• 1000 block of Rolling Hill Road: Police responded at 11:42 p.m. Saturday to a report of burglary.
• 1000 block of Rolling Hill Road: Police responded at 3:43 p.m. Friday to a report of burglary.
• 2000 block of Woodfield Drive: Police responded at 11:21 a.m. Friday to a report of burglary.

• Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 S. State Road 135: Police responded at 5 p.m. Sunday to a report of theft.
• 1000 block of Love Avenue: Police responded at 10:05 a.m. Sunday to a report of theft of a bag from a vehicle.
• 1600 block of Woodrail Court: A man reported at 10:50 a.m. Saturday that he was missing mail.
• Meijer, 150 Marlin Drive: Police responded at 7:59 p.m. Friday to a report of theft of electronics.
• 1600 block of Honey Drive: Police responded at 3:46 p.m. Friday to a report of theft from a vehicle.
• 2500 block of Galena Drive: Police responded at 11:21 a.m. Friday to a report of theft.
• 1000 block of Mission Hills: Police responded at 10:55 a.m. Friday to a report of theft.
• 200 block of Pebble Creek: Police responded at 10:46 a.m. Friday to a report of theft.
• Franciscan Health distribution, 421 N. Emerson Avenue: Police responded at 9:37 a.m. Friday to a report of theft of a pallet jack and shrink wrap.

Johnson County

Theft

4300 block of W. County Line Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 7:41 p.m. Sunday that he was missing several debit and credit cards and a ring from his vehicle.

Battery

• Johnson County Jail, 1091 Hospital Road, Franklin: Multiple inmates reported at 9:40 p.m. Saturday that an inmate bit another inmate’s cheek and thumb. The affected inmate was treated at the hospital.
• 5600 block of South County Road 700E, Franklin: Two women reported at 2:31 a.m. Sunday that a male acquaintance punched them. The man also hit a dog with a hatchet and used the hatchet to break a lock on the front door. He also fell while attempting to kick a television and fell on glassware. He fled and police found him using a K9 unit.
• 7200 block of West Stones Crossing Road, Greenwood: A woman reported at 9:59 a.m. Friday that an acquaintance picked her up by her neck and slammed her into an entertainment center. He was arrested.

Personal-injury accident

9:22 a.m. Saturday — South State Road 37 and County Road 900N, Greenwood. Payton Glenn, 40, Indianapolis and Andrew Smith, 32, Bloomington. Glenn reported elbow/lower arm pain.

Whiteland

Love’s Travel, 5115 N. County Road 300E: Police responded at 4:58 p.m. Sunday to a report of theft of 46 semi tires.
