Trojans edge Quakers
Center Grove dominated the middle and upper weight classes to pull out a 36-34 victory against Plainfield on Wednesday.
Beginning with the 160-pound class, the Trojans (15-6) got consecutive wins by pin or technical fall from Gleason Mappes, Jonah Hays (170), Julius Byrd (182), Shane Stits (195) and Andrew Rector (220). Also victorious for Center Grove were Alex Petro at 113 pounds and Peyton Pruett at 145.

Grizzlies fall at Transylvania
A rough third quarter that saw host Transylvania outscore Franklin College by 15 points proved to be the difference as the Grizzlies were handed a 70-49 league setback Wednesday.
Ashlin Aycock scored nine points to lead a balanced lineup for Franklin (4-11, 3-6 HCAC), which travels to Hanover on Saturday.
