PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh and western Pennsylvania are facing flooding amid rain and warm temperatures that are melting the recent snowfall.

More than an inch of rain has fallen Friday and a flood warning is in effect.

Motorists are slowing down because of flood conditions on some roads and some homeowners are pumping out their basements and crawl spaces. Motor vehicles were pulled from floodwaters on Becks Run Road.

Temperatures are expected to fall throughout the day and the precipitation will turn into freezing rain before changing over to snow.
