BILOXI, Miss. — The Biloxi Shuckers baseball team is hiring.

The Sun Herald reports positions for those who want to fill Schooner’s suit as the Shuckers’ mascot, for ticket takers, grounds crew and even bat boy and bat girl will be filled during the team’s fourth annual job fair Jan. 30.

The event is from 4-7 p.m. at MGM Park in Biloxi for part-time seasonal positions for the 2018 season.

Other positions the team wants to fill are: entertainment, grounds crew, ticket seller, ticket taker, retail, on-field emcee, ushers, production crew and press box.

Those who apply for a job must be able to accommodate the schedule, stand for long periods and work outdoors.

The first home game is April 11 against the Mississippi Braves. The regular season ends on Labor Day.
