LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Little Rock police say they have arrested a suspect in the killing of a woman and her two young children.

The bodies of 24-year-old Mariah Cunningham, 5-year-old Alayah Fisher and 3-year-old Elijah Fisher were found Dec. 5. Police said they arrested 21-year-old William Burnell Alexander of Little Rock on Monday but didn’t say what connected him to the case.

An affidavit filed in the case Tuesday was ordered sealed. Cunningham’s car had been found about a half-mile from an address provided for Alexander.

Police last month offered a $50,000 reward for information in the case. In a video posted on its social media sites Tuesday, officers said they were still investigating and that another arrest was possible.

Court records do not indicate a lawyer or a bond amount for Alexander.
