BRATTLEBORO, Vt. — Police in Vermont are investigating the untimely death of an infant boy in Brattleboro.

Police said they responded to a residence for a medical emergency involving a month-old child on Sunday afternoon. The baby was taken to the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The death was being investigated by the Brattleboro Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
