PHILADELPHIA — Authorities have released the name of a man who was fatally shot while he sat in a car stopped at a traffic light in Philadelphia.

But it’s still not clear what sparked the shooting, which also left a woman hospitalized in critical condition.

Authorities say 27-year-old city resident Ryan Wilson was shot multiple times by a gunman who walked up to the car shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday. Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

A 25-year-old woman driving the car was also shot in the left arm and shoulder. Her name has not been released.

Authorities say the gunman fled the scene on foot and remained at large Monday.
