GOODYEAR, Ariz. — Authorities say a brother and sister from Phoenix have been killed in motorcycle crash in Goodyear.

Goodyear police say the accident occurred about 6 p.m. Sunday.

They say 26-year-old Fabian Arvizu lost control of the motorcycle he was driving for an unknown reason. His 16-year-old sister Victoria Arvizu was riding on the back of the seat.

Both suffered fatal injuries in the crash near 143rd and Vineyard avenues.

Police say there were no immediate signs of impairment in the crash and excessive speed also doesn’t appear to be a factor.
