WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Rescue crews in Virginia have resumed their search on the James River for two missing duck hunters.

The Daily Press reported Saturday that the search entered its second day along the river southwest of Williamsburg.

The two men had set out Wednesday for a duck blind that’s across the river from Jamestown Island and the site of the colonial settlement.

The search began Thursday afternoon after the hunters failed to return. Authorities have identified them as 20-year-old Brian Austin Savage of Henrico County and 29-year-old Kyle Englehart of Charles City County.

Federal, state and local agencies have participated in the search, including the U.S. Coast Guard.

Authorities said a helicopter located an overturned vessel on Thursday that appeared to match the description of the hunters’ missing jon boat.
