DENVER — A fire has destroyed a hotel in eastern Colorado.

Police said the blaze was reported at the First Inn Gold Hotel in Limon at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

By the time firefighters arrived, the hotel was fully engulfed in flames.

Seven rooms were evacuated. No injuries were reported.

The cause is under investigation.
