KILLINGTON, Vt. — Vermont authorities say missing skiers have been found in two separate incidents.
Police say two-cross-country skiers were reported missing in Goshen on Thursday. They were headed out for a short ski in the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area but had not yet returned to the Blueberry Hill Inn at 5 p.m. They were later found safe and taken to a hospital as a precaution.
In Killington, troopers searched for a 22-year-old man who was skiing on Killington Mountain and skied out of bounds. Twenty-two-year-old Kyle Ford, of Ridgefield, Connecticut, made contact with police using his cellphone. Search teams found him about four hours later Thursday night. Ford was not hurt.
