KEIZER, Ore. — A police standoff in Keizer, Oregon, ended with a SWAT team finding the body of a man who is believed to have killed himself.

Keizer police says officers responded late Thursday to an apartment where a wanted man considered dangerous was inside.

The standoff lasted more than three hours, with police trying to get the suspect to come out or speak with negotiators.

The SWAT team entered at 1 a.m. Friday and found the man deceased. Nobody else was in the apartment.

The investigation remains active.
