BALTIMORE — A 17-year-old girl is charged in connection with a shooting during a robbery in Baltimore last month.

Baltimore police said in a Facebook post that the teen was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree attempted murder in connection with the Dec. 15 shooting of a 19-year-old man. It’s unclear if she was charged as an adult.

Detectives met with the shooting victim at the hospital and subsequently identified a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant. The victim’s current condition has not been reported.

News outlets report the victim was in the area to meet a friend when he was approached and robbed. The victim did not know the teen.

It’s unclear if the teen has a lawyer.
