RENO, Nev. — Authorities say an unknown man bashed in the front windows and door to an LGBT community resource center in Reno.

KTVN-TV reports the vandalism to the OUR Center facility occurred on Tuesday while it was open and people were inside.

Center Vice President Meredith Tanzer says the man was believed to be wearing a ski mask, and he smashed the windows with a large rock.

Reno police say they’re searching for the suspect, and the vandalism caused several thousand dollars in damages.

Police say the determination on if this is a hate crime will be made after the suspect’s motives are identified.
