MANCHESTER, N.H. — Police in New Hampshire say slick road conditions may have led to a car crashing into a nursing home.
Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, say a driver struck the side of Hanover Hill Health Care Center on Thursday morning during a snowstorm making its way through the Northeast. No one was hurt.
WMUR-TV reports the car crashed into an empty hallway. Three patients in a nearby room were evacuated, but the nursing home has not been closed.
There have been a number of crashes on snow-covered roads as the storm picked up Thursday, with limited visibility. Police said Route 101 west in Candia was closed Thursday between exits 2 and 3 because of a crash involving a state police cruiser. Officials said the trooper wasn’t in the vehicle; there was no word of injuries.
