CAMBRIDGE, Vt. — Vermont police say a pickup truck crashed into a police cruiser due to poor road conditions.

The crash took place Tuesday night in the Cambridge area, where a truck was traveling down a hill and a deputy’s cruiser was traveling up the same hill. WCAX-TV reports the truck driver lost control of his vehicle while he was driving down the hill and slammed into the police cruiser.

The driver and passenger of the truck were not injured. The deputy, who had just started her shift, walked away with no injuries.

No one will be charged in the crash.
