Donna Faye Walker, 81, passed away Monday afternoon, January 1st, 2018 at Hickory Creek in Franklin. She was a resident of Sweetwater Lake in Nineveh, Indiana.
She was born on January 7th, 1936 in Franklin to Donald and Hazel (Petro) Anderson. She married Richard L. Walker on June 26th, 1955. He lovingly survives. Donna is also survived by their children, Denise (Ron) Smith and Mike (Monteil) Walker; grandchildren, Melissa Crawhorn, David Fisette, Matthew Smith, Alex Walker and Bryce Walker; three great-grandchildren and one brother, Bob Anderson. She was preceded in passing by her parents and brother, Jerry Wayne Anderson.
She was a graduate of Nineveh High School.
Donna was a devoted stay-at-home Mother and a Homemaker to her family.
She was a member of the Franklin American Legion Ladies Auxiliary No. 205.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Friday, January 5th, at 11:00 a.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call on Thursday, January 4th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery.
