Kathleen R. Solomon

FRANKLIN

Kathleen Solomon, 96, formerly of Shelbyville for 60 years and a resident of Morning Pointe Assisted Living in Franklin, passed away peacefully Saturday evening Dec. 30, 2017, at her Morning Pointe home. She has “Gone Home to Jesus, her Savior”.

Kathleen’s husband Cloyd Solomon passed away in 2001.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Solomon Bertolacci, her husband, Alfred Bertolacci of Franklin; and her granddaughter, Tammy Koehler of Salem, Virginia. Her grandson Bradley Koehler passed away unexpectedly in 2014.

She was attended to by the caring nursing staff and very dear CNA assistants at Morning Point for over 10 years. These were good years for her and she also lived near Al and Lynn’shome and they took loving care of her. More recently she received additional care by Great Lakes Caring Hospice team of nurses.She is at peace with Jesus now.

A private graveside service will be held at Hurst Cemetery in Rush County.A memorial letter will be posted on the website and online condolences may be shared at glennegeorgeandson.net.
