Dorothy F. Jones (Walsh), 95, of Greenwood, peacefully returned to her Lord on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at home with her daughter by her side.
She was born in Indianapolis on July 5, 1922 to the late William Walsh and Gertrude Higgins.
Dorothy was a graduate from the Indiana School for the Deaf and retired from Indiana National Bank.
She was survived by her two children, Larry Jones (Kathy) and Rosemary Gibson; and her daughter of the heart, Rose Decker; her three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Walton R. Jones; and three siblings.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and volunteers at St. Francis Hospice for the outstanding care they provided during Dorothy’s final journey. Also to the Greenwood Fire Department Station 93.
There will be no funeral services held at this time.
