Robert ‘Butch’ Schultz Jr.

SHELBYVILLE

Robert L. “Butch” Schultz Jr., 65, of Shelbyville, passed away, Sunday, December 24, 2017, at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born November 19, 1952, in Freemont, OH, he was the son of Robert Schultz Sr. and Virginia (Liebeck) Schultz.

Butch married Cathy (Wyrick) Schultz on January 14, 1978, and she survives.

Butch is also survived by his daughters, Jessica Schlabach (Joshua) of Flat Rock and Ashley Schultz-Shively of Franklin; son, Brandon Schultz (Marissa) of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Savannah, Abby, Grace, Ben, Olivia, Logan, Macy and Hannah; sisters, Faylene Winegar (Jim) of Florida, Kristine Owens (John) of Bargersville and Jeanene Wells (Pat) of Tennessee; and brother, Randy Schultz of Florida;

Butch retired after over 20 years of service as a supervisor at Express Packaging.

He attended Town and Country Christian Church and actively volunteered wherever he was needed. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.

His greatest pleasure was spending time with family. He never met a stranger.

A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, December 28, 2017, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.

Private burial services will be held at a later date in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens.

Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Schultz family.
