CHICAGO — A 24-year-old Chicago man has been charged with shooting two people, including a 14-year-old boy, near a Chicago Transit Authority bus.

In a news release Friday, police say Keyan Vance is charged with aggravated battery, unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon for the Dec. 15 shooting.

The teen was shot in the neck while inside a CTA bus. The 28-year-old man was shot in the foot.

Police say neither vicitim was the intended target. They say the shooting happened during a fight at a nearby gas station on the city’s South Side. The boy was hit when the shooter started firing near the CTA bus.
