A Franklin man pointed a gun at an intruder that came into his home, who then ran away.
Just after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to a home on Bryant Court, where a resident said a man came into his home. The home is in a neighborhood off Graham Road.
The resident told police he had been relaxing in his chair and saw the man run through his yard and then come into his home, according to the Franklin Police Department report.
The resident pointed his gun at the man, who then turned around and ran and got into a waiting vehicle. The resident tried to follow the vehicle to get a license plate number but was not able to, the report said.
Nothing was broken or missing from the home, the report said.
