Lots to do with kids on Christmas break

Christmas is just a few days away.

Students get weeks off of school for the holiday.

Here is a list of what students and families can do together when they are not attending family gatherings and ripping open presents.

HAPPY NOON YEAR, 11:30 a.m. Dec. 29, Franklin Branch and 11:30 a.m. Dec. 30, Clark-Pleasant Branch. Ring in the New Year at noon.

PEEWINKLE CHRISTMAS AT THE PUPPET STUDIO, through Dec. 28, Peewinkle Puppet Studio, Indiana State Museum, 650 S. Washington St., Indianapolis. Christmas marionette variety show that is hosted by two crazy mice that live in a piano. Uplifting music and audience participation.
