The entire community is invited to Christmas dinner.
Grace United Methodist Church, 1300 E. Adams St., will host the free meal from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 25.
Meals are available for carryout from 1:30 to 4 p.m., and delivery may be requested to a home or business, and will be brought between noon and 2 p.m.
This year marks the ninth year the church has hosted the Christmas dinner, which typically includes ham, mashed potatoes, rolls, tossed salad and dessert.

The dinner is modeled after the annual Johnson County Thanksgiving Banquet.
The church hosted 60 people the first year, but, now expects to feed hundreds.
