HOBOKEN, N.J. — Prosecutors say four students at a New Jersey high school have been charged in an alleged sexual assault on a 17-year-old girl.

Hudson County prosecutors allege that the female student was pushed into a room at Hoboken High School where she was fondled and forced to perform a sexual act.

Prosecutors said school surveillance video captured the victim being pushed into the room on Nov. 30.

A 17-year-old faces charges including first-degree aggravated sexual assault and kidnapping, and two 16-year-olds faces charges including conspiracy.

An 18-year-old accused of recording the actions on his cellphone faces charges including aggravated criminal sexual contact and conspiracy.

Prosecutor Esther Suarez called the case “deeply disturbing” because of the ages, the acts alleged and what she called “the brazenness of where they took place.”
