ATLANTA — A body has been pulled from a river in Atlanta.

Atlanta Fire Rescue spokesman Cortez Stafford told WXIA-TV that the body was found floating in the Chattahoochee River in the northwestern corner of the city around 5 p.m. Monday.

Stafford said the body hasn’t been identified and may have been in the water for an extended period of time.

Police also responded to the scene.
