A local fire department is offering free car seat inspections for care givers.
White River Township Fire Department, 850 S. Mullinix Road, Greenwood, is a permanent fitting station for car seats.
Parents can call 317-888-8337 to make an appointment to have their car seat inspected and
fitted.
The station is in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.
