Wreaths were placed at the veterans memorial at the Johnson County Courthouse to commemorate National Wreaths Across America Day, which is observed on the third Saturday in December. About 10,000 volunteers are expected to decorate graves at Arlington National Cemetery. American Legion Post No. 205 provided the wreaths for the veterans memorial.
Nobody covers Johnson County and the surrounding areas like the Daily Journal.
