DURHAM, N.C. — Police have released the name of a man who died after being shot on a North Carolina street.

Durham police spokeswoman Kammie Michael said in a news release Wednesday that the victim was 18-year-old Najay Peace.

Officers had been called around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday and found a man on the ground with a gunshot wound. Peace was taken to a hospital where he died.

Michael said no arrests have been made.
