TILTON, N.H. — Police in New Hampshire are searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run that injured a man over the weekend.

WMUR-TV reports the crash happened around 5 p.m. Friday in Tilton. Police say a 55-year-old Tilton man was struck by a vehicle that failed to stop. Authorities say the man was able to walk to a nearby Travelodge for help.

The victim was flown to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.

Police say they are searching for a pickup truck with damage to its right passenger side door.
