Spending the morning with Santa or buying holiday cookies to take home will help benefit needy families in the county.
Grace United Methodist Church, 1300 E. Adams Drive, Franklin, is hosting Breakfast with Santa and a Cookie Walk from 8 to 11 a.m. Dec. 9.
Tickets for an adult are $5; children are $3 and a family is $15.
Families can feast on pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage before filling up a box with your choice of a variety of homemade cookies. The box of homemade cookies are $8.

The event also will include a silent auction and children will have the chance to play bells.
Money raised will go toward the church’s mission of helping people throughout the year, including adopting families to buy Christmas gifts and helping schools by donating socks and underwear for needy students.
