GIRLS BASKETBALL

Lancers edged in double OT

Despite five girls scoring in double figures, led by Destiney Ramey’s 22 points, Edinburgh was handed a tough double-overtime loss at Oldenburg Academy on Tuesday night, 81-76.

Sidney Beier added 14 points for the Lancers (3-4). Taylor Tatlock finished with 12 points, while Trinity Tatlock and Haven Link each chipped in 10.

SWIMMING AND DIVING

Trojans sweep Falcons

Center Grove’s teams rolled to an impressive sweep of Perry Meridian on Tuesday. The Trojan boys were a 132-53 winner, while the girls defeated the Falcons 137-49.

Woodmen fall to Martinsville

Greenwood’s boys and girls come up on the short end against Mid-State Conference foe Martinsville. The Woodmen lost the girls meet 104-82, while the boys fell by a 102-66 count.

Freshmen Ava Leininger and Grace Nuhfer each won a pair of individual races for Greenwood and swam together on two winning relays. Samantha Loudermilk (100 breaststroke) and Faith Jackson (diving) also placed first.

On the boys side, Ross Linville (100 butterfly) and Gabe Ellington (500 freestyle) won for the Woodmen.
