MORGANTOWN
Lucas Daniel Loi Kean, age 18, passed away all too soon Saturday evening, November 25, 2017 at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Morgantown and a student at Indian Creek High School.
Born in 1999, Lucas celebrated his 18th birthday on November 23rd. He was a Junior at Indian Creek High School in Trafalgar and enjoyed spending his free time in the outdoors by skateboarding, fishing and hunting deer. During his middle school years, Lucas played football and was on the wrestling team. He was a great friend and full of life.
Lucas will be dearly missed by his mother: Julie Ann Hope of Morgantown, brothers; Jordan Kean of Broad Ripple & Alex Tran of Trafalgar; grandparents: Joyce & John Matthews of Franklin; Aunt Karen (Troy) Sprinkle of Monrovia; great-grandparents: Bernard Fulton Sr. of Morgantown and Tom & Marjorie Matthews of Bismarck, Illinois; Great Aunts & Uncles: Bernard Fulton Jr. of Morgantown, Deana (Bryan) Hatfield of Franklin, RaJean Vehling of Martinsville, LaDonna (Darrel) Rivenbark of Visalia, California and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Deanna Fulton and Henry & Ida Kean.
Pastor Brian Butler will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 30th at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to send contributions to help defray burial costs to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home P.O. Box 308 Morgantown, IN 46160.
