ESSEX, Vt. — Authorities in Vermont are investigating a case of vandalism in which suspects spray-painted a car with homophobic slurs.

WCAX-TV reports the car was vandalized Saturday night in Essex. The car was spray-painted with slurs and lewd images.

Police have confirmed there is an ongoing investigation. Police say two juveniles have been cited in connection with the case.
