MISSOULA, Mont. — A 46-year-old Missoula woman was struck and killed over the weekend while crossing the street in the southwestern part of the city.

Police say the driver is cooperating with the investigation into the collision, which happened at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Missoula County Undersheriff Rich Maricelli on Monday told KGVO-AM that the victim was Jill Jenkins.

Police spokesman Travis Welsh says the investigation into Jenkins’ death continued Monday. Officers have said there is no evidence that speed or alcohol were factors.
