MOBILE, Ala. — A body has been discovered in Alabama and an investigation involving several agencies is underway.

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office told news outlets Sunday that the incident is being investigated as a homicide.

Prichard police spokeswoman Melanie Baldwin says the incident started outside Prichard’s jurisdiction with two Mobile residents Friday night.

WALA-TV reports the victim’s body was inside a silver Honda Civic.

It is unclear if others were hurt during the incident. Further details have not been released.
