Priscilla Nadine Shepherd

FRANKLIN

Priscilla Nadine Shepherd, 90, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, November 18, 2017. She was a resident of Franklin, and former resident of Greenwood.

She was born on May 11, 1927 in Brazil, IN to Clifford and Estil (Shields) Luther. She married Charles E. Shepherd on February 17, 1946. He preceded her in death in 2006. Survivors include five children, Susanne (Bob Biship) Spaulding of St. Louis, MO, Charles K. (Melinda) Shepherd of Greenwood, Shannon (Margie) Shepherd of Greenwood, Scott (Kimberly) Shepherd of Beech Grove, and Matt (Jerlyn) Shepherd of Greenwood; one sister, Volah Kight of St. Louis, MO; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one brother, John Luther.

She was a 1944 graduate of Shortridge High School in Indianapolis.

Priscilla was a member of Bluff Creek Christian Church, where she was a very active with her bible study group.

She was a former girl scout leader, and enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and working in her garden.

She was a terrific wife and mother, and will be forever missed.

A private graveside service will take place at Bluff Creek Cemetery in Greenwood.
