EDINBURGH
Stephen B. Thomas, 62 of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana.
He was born March 30, 1955 in Edinburg, Texas. He was the son of Gerald and Mary (Vance) Thomas. He married Theresa (Gosch) Thomas on September 28, 1991.
He is survived by daughters, Shay Lynn (Tracy) Kindred of Edinburgh, Indiana and Dawn Marie Graham of Edinburgh, Indiana, brothers, Timothy (Linda) Thomas of Indianapolis, Indiana and Daniel (Barbara) Thomas of California, grandchildren, Kyndra Handcock, Ian Buchanan, and Grace Kindred all of Edinburgh, Indiana, sister-in-law, Brenda Gosch of Edinburgh, Indiana , and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Casey Rae Thomas.
He worked for the family business, Thomas and Sons Builders, Inc. prior to starting his own construction business, Intrepid Construction, Inc.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and musicians playing with numerous bands. He enjoyed history and lived life to the fullest.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at a later date.
